Why I like March so much

I like Ireland and it’s fun to celebrate the little bit of Irish in me every March, but the real reason I like Saint Patrick’s Day:

Corned Beef and Cabbage!

mmmm!

I know I don’t have to wait until Saint Patrick’s Day to eat corned beef and cabbage, but it’s a little like eating turkey dinner on a day that isn’t Thanksgiving: strange.

Sun! Glorious Sun!

It’s a beautiful day in Washington. I found Calli soaking up the sun in the only patch of sun shining into the house this morning.


After a day of downpour, it’s sunny and warm enough to be outside.

I finally planted the new indoor plants in pots and prepared the soil for transplanting the vegetables. I will get some more peat pots tomorrow after work and the transplanting will begin! I separated the garlic and planted it in one of the boxes. I hope I get a few good cloves this year.

Dinner cooked all day in the crock pot and was delicious. I missed out on Saint Patrick’s Day, but it was worth the wait!
